Is store inventory accurately shown online?
Yes. The inventory shown for stores on our website is updated every few minutes. In order to view store inventory, you must first select your store using "My Store" in the header of this and other pages on the site.
How do I browse inventory in other stores?
Switch stores using “My Store” in the header of this and other pages on the site. Inventory will refresh for the new store. Once you select a store, on specific product pages, you can also select the link "Search more stores for availability," which provides inventory in the five nearest stores to your location.
Why can I find an item in one store and not another?
Although our stores provide a broad selection of products, there is variation in inventory depending on local demand, customer buying patterns and store size. If you don't find an item at your store, you can use our website to find other stores that carry the product—or ask a sales associate about options for getting the item.
If I don’t see a specific product, can I still obtain the product?
If a product is not listed in our product catalog, not available for ordering online or not stocked in stores, please see your local store about placing a special order. Virginia ABC can usually obtain a product as long as it is carried by a U.S. distributor. For some products, you may be required to purchase a full case.
What are limited availability products?
For some products, the amount offered from our suppliers is very limited compared with the anticipated demand for the product. Virginia ABC has chosen to distribute these high-demand, low-inventory products through online ordering and lotteries. Read more about limited availability products.
