Business opportunities abound at Virginia ABC, and we are committed to building professional partnerships with small businesses, women-owned and minority-owned businesses (SWaM) and eVA-registered vendors. The Authority purchases thousands of goods and services each year, many in high volume. From paper clips to fork lifts, we need supplies, equipment and services to keep our $800 million-plus operation moving forward.
Virginia ABC utilizes eVA to provide the public with centralized visibility and access to the Commonwealth’s procurement opportunities in accordance with Code of Virginia 2.2-4300. We post all business opportunities on eVA, including “quick quotes" and sealed, large-dollar solicitations, as well as state contracts and future opportunities. The eVA portal streamlines and automates government purchasing activities in the Commonwealth. The portal is the gateway for vendors to conduct business with state agencies and public bodies. All vendors desiring to provide goods and/or services to Virginia ABC must participate in eVA eProcurement. Vendors are strongly encouraged to visit the eVA website for additional information.
Vendors qualifying as a small, women- or minority-owned (SWaM) business are requested to register with the Virginia Department of Small Business and Supplier Diversity (SBSD). Virginia ABC seeks involvement from SBSD-certified SWaM businesses on many of our solicitations for goods and services.
