This cocktail originated in a bus station restaurant (hence the name). Although it was originally made with gin, this midcentury classic also became one of the earliest vodka cocktails.

Preparation
Pour ingredients into a highball glass over ice cubes. Stir well and serve. Garnish with twist of lemon or lime.
To vary, change the proportion of juice and spirits; substitute vodka or flavored vodka for the gin. To make a Salty Dog, simply salt the rim.
