VAL ACH Payments

Terms and Conditions

This policy applies to ACH payments in the Virginia ABC VAL application.

The account owner is solely responsible for the accuracy of all bank account(s) and payment amount information entered on their account, for all ACH transactions.

When bank account payment information is submitted the payment status may initially show as successful. This status may change based on receipt of bank return information. A rejection of the payment by the account owner’s bank may result in suspension of the Licensee’s ability to use ACH (and other non-certified payment methods) as a payment method for at least one year.

Virginia ABC does not store account or routing information. The account owner may authorize storage of information as an encrypted token for use with future payment requests. Token management is the responsibility of the account owner. Tokens with no activity will expire after 15 months.

By accepting this policy, you authorize Virginia ABC to initiate electronic debits against the bank account of record for all payment requests submitted in the VAL account(s). You further acknowledge that this authorization will remain in full force until you revoke the authorization by removing all authorized delegations and inactivating all tokens.
