Shake ingredients with ice and pour into glass over rocks. If desired, garnish with slice of orange and maraschino cherry.
Variations include: Substitute a different tropical fruit juice (passionfruit, papaya, mango) or cherry brandy for the pineapple juice. Add a dash of grenadine syrup. Add 1 oz of amber rum in equal measure to the other rums.
