Create honey syrup using two parts honey and one part water. Add all ingredients and shake over ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist.
A popular modern variation includes switching out the honey syrup for honey liqueur. This gives it a little more kick while maintaining the sweet honey flavor.
