Virginia ABC Board of Directors' Meetings

The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Act provides Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) Board of Directors (board) with the vested: (i) control of the possession, sale, transportation, distribution, and delivery of alcoholic beverages in the Commonwealth, (ii) power to prescribe and enforce related regulations and conditions to prevent any corrupt, incompetent, dishonest, or unprincipled practices and (iii) responsibility to promote the health, safety, welfare, convenience, and prosperity of the people of the Commonwealth. The board is required to meet at least every 60 days pursuant to Code of Virginia § 4.1-101.01).

In accordance with Code of Virginia §§ 2.2-3700, et seq., Virginia ABC posts information related to public board meetings, such as a public notice, meeting agenda, draft meeting minutes, and final meeting minutes.
