Inspired by the sea-going adventures of Hemingway, Papa's Pilar Blonde is named for the vessel that allowed Hemingway to reach beyond the shoreline and feast on life. This three year old rum is sourced from various distilleries, and once procured, undergoes a blending process that employs bourbon barrels, port casks and sherry casks. Rounded nose with citrus notes of grapefruit, mandarin and key lime mixed with vanilla, oak and a touch of crisp almond, producing a creamy, buttery vanilla taste. The result is nutty, clean and exceptionally smooth.
