Cocktail #1
1 1/2 oz. Vitae Golden Rum
1/2 oz. Virginia honey (diluted 2:1, honey:water)
1/2 oz. Massenez Creme De Mure Blackberry
3/4 oz. Fresh-squeezed lime juice
2-3 Blackberries
1 Lavender sprig
Add ingredients to a shaker, then add ice and shake until well-chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into an Old-fashioned glass with ice. Garnish with fresh blackberries and a sprig of lavender.
Cocktail #2
1 1/2 oz. Vitae Golden Rum
1/2 oz. Virginia honey (diluted 2:1, honey:water)
1/2 oz. Ancho Reyes Verde Chile Poblano Liqueur
3/4 oz. Fresh-squeezed lemon juice
3 slices serrano pepper
1 lemon wheel
1 saffron pinch
Add ingredients to a shaker, then gently muddle the peppers. Add ice and shake until well-chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into a Collins glass with ice. Garnish with saffron threads and a brûléed lemon wheel.
