Fill a rocks glass ¾ full with ice. Add a whiskey mini, 1 dash bitters and 1 teaspoon of simple syrup. Garnish with an orange slice and a cherry. Cheers!
Variation: For an Old Fashioned with a kick, add 1 ounce chile liqueur before stirring. For an Irish twist, use Irish Whiskey instead.
