ThunderCat Technology is a trusted partner of Virginia ABC, providing valuable information technology (IT) products to the Authority. As a service-disabled veteran-owned small business, ThunderCat’s mission is to help organizations innovate and excel, and they approach each engagement with integrity and commitment. ThunderCat was founded in 2008 and named after the CEO Tom “ThunderCat 6” Deierlein, a former U.S. Army Major and combat wounded Operation Iraqi Freedom veteran. ThunderCat has been named to the TechElite250 list for the last seven years. That means the sales staff and technical team possess multiple top tier certifications and they have tested, proven knowledge across the stack, including data storage, cyber, networking, and cloud transformations.

Virginia ABC attends a variety of SWaM supplier trade shows, expos and other related events to meet and network with suppliers who may be able to assist the Authority in meeting our business needs. These events also offer those businesses attending these events an opportunity to meet members of the ABC Procurement division.

The Supply Room
The Supply Room strives to be Virginia ABC’s preferred source for office supplies, furniture, technology and janitorial solutions. TSRC pivoted in 2020 to secure a continuous supply of personal protective equipment (PPE) products from trusted manufacturers and have supplied their customers with over 2.3 million PPE and safety products.

TK Promotions
TK Promotions supplies Virginia ABC with a variety of office needs such as human resources on-boarding products, Youth Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention Project (YADAPP) program items, and more recently, face masks and other PPE. TK also supported Virginia ABC’s move to its new headquarters and distribution center in Hanover, providing welcome kits for all employees.
