This whiskey expression is a blend of several barrels that have been fractionally blended over the course of 3 years. Using 3 or more barrels, the process enabled the spirit to come in contact with different barrel profiles thus creating a unique, smooth blend of Virginia distilled whiskey. This Solara whiskey was finished in a new charred oak barrel for 6 months adding to its double oaked namesake. At 90 proof this is an easy sipper and best enjoyed over ice or as a mixer in your favorite whiskey cocktail.
