To produce an even fruitier, sweeter Balvenie, this scotch is aged in ex-bourbon barrels and then transferred to imported virgin oak barrels from Kentucky that were deep toasted at Balvenie Cooperage. The result is a delectably complex whisky with notes of candied fruit, coconut and delicate vanilla.
