The rum starts with a legend of Shipwrecks along the Outer Banks of North Carolina and the barrels of rum that landed on the shores. In those days, rum was known as "Kill-Devil." Those plundered barrels were buried at the base of what is now known as Kill Devil Hill, where the Wright Brothers would make their historic flight. This small batch rum is made from "molasses to glasses" and uses North Carolina pecans and honey in the rum.
