In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, add ingredients and shake well. Strain into a glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wheel and fresh jalapeno.
As a spiced-up variation, replace the classic salt rim with a chili salt rim. To tame it down, try with a sugar rim. Simply run a wedge of lime around the rim of your glass and dip.
