Preparation
Add ice cream to punchbowl (or mug, for smaller serving) and stir until softened. Add egg nog and stir; add rum and stir. Just before serving, add ginger ale and stir. Sprinkle some crushed candy cane on top and hang whole mini candy canes off the side of the bowl or mug.
