This recipe serves 6.
Add the water, sugar, spices and peels of 1 orange and 1 lemon to a large saucepan. Bring to a boil, then let simmer for 20 minutes. Remove the rind and spices and add the wine. Heat on low until the wine is steaming, but don’t let it boil. Serve in individual mugs garnished with oranges and cinnamon sticks.
