Slushy, Sweet and Sour
From the beginning, most cocktails were served chilled or on the rocks, but frozen cocktails had to wait until the 1950s, when blenders and electric freezers became part of every kitchen. Sweet or sour, frozen cocktails are usually mixed with fruit or fruit juice. In fact, almost any cocktail with juice can be made frozen—even a Bloody Mary!
