Build cocktail in a mixing glass with ice and stir. Strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon wedge or rind.
To make honey syrup, mix equal parts honey and water in a saucepan over heat. Stir until honey is dissolved. Allow to cool.
