Sweet vermouth is a sweetened fortified wine that is aromatized with botanicals. Mt. Defiance uses its own apple brandy to extract flavors from herbs grown by the distillery and spices from around the world. Mt. Defiance blends the flavored brandy with barrel-aged brandy, Vidal Blanc wine, local honey and caramel syrup. The result is delicious chilled, on the rocks, or in classic cocktails like the Manhattan.
