Every batch of Blood Oath is the undertaking of Lux Row’s Master Distiller John Rempe and each year has one goal in mind – to seek out bourbons rare and wonderful, famous and forgotten. Blood Oath Pact No. 9 is a combination of a 16-year ryed bourbon, a 12-year ryed bourbon, and a 7 year ryed bourbon finished in Oloroso Sherry casks from the Sherry Triangle region in southwest Spain. Sherry Cask finishing produces woody and ripe fruit aromas, with flavor notes of figs, plums, and raisins, complemented by spicy oak notes.
