New Magazine Includes Quarterly Price List

Spirited Virginia magazine in a Virginia ABC store

The quarterly price list is back!

Virginia ABC launched its Spirited Virginia magazine following a months-long hiatus during which a different publisher was secured and a new magazine created.

The new quarterly publication features interesting stories about distilled spirits, appealing photography, cocktail recipes and Virginia ABC news. More importantly for the mixed-beverage licensee public, the magazine contains the agency’s quarterly price list.

Spirited Virginia will publish every January, April, July and October and be available for customers and licensees in both print and digital versions. An ABC editorial board determines the content for each issue.

Mixed beverage licensees will receive a copy of the magazine from their primary store when they pick up their first order of every quarter. The 56-page, full-color magazine can also be found on the Featured Products and Promotions page.

Spirited Virginia replaces the Virginia Wine & Liquor Quarterly magazine, which many people referred to as the “price list magazine.” The new publication is much more than a price list.  In the July issue, readers can learn about the nuances of bourbon, discover why flavored moonshine has become so popular with consumers and discover fun cocktails perfect for outdoor entertaining now that summer has arrived. The magazine also contains a complete listing of contact information for all stores in alphabetic order by city/county.

Roanoke-based publisher Leisure Media 360 publishes the magazine at no cost to Virginia ABC. Financial support for the partnership comes from numerous vendors and brokers who purchased advertisements in the magazine. A print business in Richmond prints 14,000 copies of the publication.

The editorial board is very interested in licensee comments and suggestions for story ideas and other feedback about Spirited Virginia. Licensees should contact any member of the editorial board.
