Virginia ABC to Offer Several Collectible Bourbons through Online Lottery

Some of the biggest names in collectible bourbons will be available for the opportunity to purchase through the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority’s (ABC) online lottery in November.

From Nov. 13–15, customers will be able to enter for the opportunity to purchase Weller Full Proof Bourbon ($49.99), Weller C.Y.P.B (Craft Your Perfect Bourbon) Bourbon ($39.99), E. H. Taylor Amaranth Bourbon ($69.99) and Elmer T. Lee 100 Year Tribute Bourbon ($99.99).

From Nov. 20–22, customers will be able to enter for the opportunity to purchase Old Forester Birthday Bourbon 2019 ($129.99), Parker’s Heritage Rye Whiskey ($149.99) and Four Roses Limited Edition Small Batch Bourbon ($139.99).

“Our online lottery system allows us to distribute these high-demand, limited supply products more equitably to Virginians of legal age across the state,” said Travis Hill, Virginia ABC chief executive officer. “These limited offering products could make great holiday gifts for the bourbon aficionado in your life.”

Each lottery entry form will be available for three days. Winners will be selected at random in a drawing from all valid entries received during the lottery entry period. All entries received during each three-day entry period will have an equal opportunity to win. The lottery is open to Virginia residents only, and winners must present a valid Virginia photo ID at the time of purchase.

All lottery entries must include the store number and address where the bottle should be delivered for customer purchase and pick up. Lottery entrants are encouraged to determine this location before submitting their entry. Lottery information is available at www.abc.virginia.gov/products/limited-availability.
