No need to worry about getting those hard-to-find gifts for the spirits lover on your holiday shopping list. Starting tomorrow, the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) will offer convenient options for mall shoppers in the Fairfax, Arlington, Fredericksburg, Charlottesville and Richmond areas.
“This is the second year we have offered this convenience during the holiday shopping season,” said Virginia ABC Chief Executive Officer Travis Hill. “These holiday shops offer a top-shelf selection of some of our most popular items, and many are boxed and ready for gifting.”
These holiday shops will feature a limited selection of super- and ultra-premium liquors. Customers can choose from 50-100 spirits, depending on location, with items such as the Game of Thrones Limited Edition scotch collection, Crown Royal Peach, and Eagle Rare, Elijah Craig and Michter’s bourbons.

They will be closed on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28) and Christmas Day (Dec. 25). Only credit and debit cards accepted – no cash transactions. Online ordering is not available for these locations.
Customers at all five locations can also take advantage of Virginia ABC’s Black Friday promotion on Nov. 29. All pre-tax purchases totaling $100 or more will receive a 20% discount. The sale does not apply to licensee purchases. Other ABC store product promotions will not be available at the holiday shops.
