All Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) stores will close at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 2 in observance of Labor Day. Stores will observe normal hours during the weekend preceding the holiday.

Virginia ABC encourages those consuming alcoholic beverages to enjoy spirits responsibly and never drink and drive.
The Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) is a major source of revenue for the commonwealth, contributing more than $2.2 billion to the general fund in the last five years. Virginia ABC currently operates 381 state stores, and provides alcohol education and prevention programs for people of all ages. Its Bureau of Law Enforcement oversees more than 19,000 ABC licensed establishments.
