April showers bring May flowers… and a fresh selection of 30 new products to Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) stores.
The new products span the full range of spirits categories and include nine bourbons, one rye whiskey, two brandies, five ready-to-drink cocktails, two cordials, three rums, four tequilas/mezcals, two vodkas and two Virginia-made wines. Between wine and spirits, seven of the new products are made in the commonwealth.
“We strive to keep our product selection varied and fresh, while paying attention to consumer trends,” said Travis Hill, Chief Executive Officer of Virginia ABC. “Our quarterly listings process allows us to enhance our offerings and highlight new products from both around the globe and within Virginia.”
Three of the new products will be featured in the monthly Mini Monday promotion. On the first Monday of each month, customers can get a complimentary 50-milliliter size of the featured spirit with any qualifying purchase of $35 or more, in any Virginia ABC store. April 1 will feature Svedka Blue Raspberry Vodka; May 6 will feature Bacardi Lime Rum; and June 3 will feature 99 Pineapples Schnapps.
