Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) stores are only closed four of the 365 days in a year. This Sunday is one of them.
All Virginia ABC stores will be closed on March 27 in observance of the Easter holiday. The retail outlets will be open regular hours on Saturday, March 26, and Monday, March 28.
Customers are encouraged to make plans accordingly when shopping for the distilled spirits, mixers and Virginia wines Virginia ABC carries. A searchable list of Virginia ABC’s 358 stores—including brands and quantities of spirits available at each location—can be found on the agency’s updated website at www.abc.virginia.gov.
The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) is a major source of revenue for the commonwealth, contributing more than $1.8 billion to the general fund in the last five years. The agency also provides alcohol education and prevention programs for people of all ages. Now marking its 82nd year, ABC remains committed to progress and innovation in carrying out its control, service and revenue mission.
