All Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) stores will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 26, in observance of Thanksgiving. Stores will operate normal hours the Wednesday prior to the holiday (Nov. 25) to accommodate the increase in customer purchases for family gatherings during the extended weekend.
Stores will reopen on Black Friday (Nov. 27)—the traditional kickoff to the holiday shopping season—and offer a 10 percent discount off any purchase totaling between $50 and $74.99, and a 15 percent discount off any purchase totaling at least $75.
A searchable list of Virginia ABC’s 353 stores—including brands and quantities of spirits available at each location—can be found on the agency’s updated website at www.abc.virginia.gov.
