Master Distiller Fred Noe, Great-Grandson of Jim Beam, Will Visit, Sign Bottles in Midlothian

Jim Beam Master Distiller Fred Noe will offer samples of Jim Beam products and sign bottles from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 13, at the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) store at 13121 Rittenhouse Drive in Midlothian.

Noe is the seventh generation Beam family distiller and the great-grandson of Jim Beam, whose efforts to rebuild his family’s distillery business after the end of Prohibition earned his name a place on every label. Prior to that, the family had distilled Old Jake Beam bourbon named for the family’s first distiller, Jacob Beam, in the 1790s.

Noe will sign bottles and offer samples of Jim Beam products including Basil Hayden, Jim Beam Single Barrel, Knob Creek Rye and Jim Beam Devil’s Cut.

During the event, a $3 discount will be offered on all 750 mL bottles of these featured Jim Beam spirits, except for Jim Beam Devil’s Cut, which will be sold at a $2 discounted price.

This is Noe’s second stop on a two-day visit to the commonwealth to offer sampling and bottle signing. On Monday, Oct. 12, the distiller will visit Virginia ABC’s premier store in Leesburg.
