Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) stores will have special hours on Monday, Sept. 7, in honor of Labor Day.
For customer convenience, all stores will remain open until 6 p.m. A searchable list of Virginia ABC's 352 stores—including brands and quantities of spirits available at each location—can be found on the agency’s updated website (www.abc.virginia.gov).
Labor Day also marks the end of the Virginia is for Lovers trucker hat promotion with the Virginia Tourism Corporation. Through Monday, customers at nine participating Virginia ABC stores who purchase 750mL or larger size bottles of Virginia-made wines or spirits will receive a hat. The stores include:

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) is a major source of revenue for the commonwealth, contributing more than $1.8 billion to the general fund in the last five years. The agency currently operates 352 state stores. Its Bureau of Law Enforcement oversees more than 16,000 ABC licensed establishments while the Hearings and Appeals Division considers more than 700 cases each year.
