Chesapeake ABC Store Closing One Week for Construction

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) store located at 237 S. Battlefield Blvd. in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake will temporarily close on Sunday, May 24, at 6 p.m. for remodeling. It is scheduled to reopen at 10 a.m. on Monday, June 1.

During the week-long closure, Virginia ABC will modernize the store's flooring to enhance our customer's shopping experience, comfort and safety.

Nearby Virginia ABC stores in Chesapeake located at 1620 Cedar Road and 236 Carmichael Way are open for business during the remodel.

A searchable list of ABC stores can be found at https://www.abc.virginia.gov/about/find-a-store. Customers may use Virginia ABC’s new website to determine if products they regularly purchase at the Battlefield Boulevard location are available at neighboring stores.
