The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) store located in the South Crater Shopping Center, 3330 South Crater Road, Petersburg, will close Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m. for remodeling. The store is scheduled to reopen Saturday, March 15 at 10 a.m.
This Petersburg location, along with other recently remodeled stores, balances functionality with visual appeal as well as security, maintenance and accessibility for the disabled. The newly designed store will feature enhanced shelving allowing for increased product selection to meet market demand..

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) is a major source of revenue for the commonwealth, contributing more than $1.7 billion to the general fund in the last five years.
