Midlothian ABC Store Closing for Two-Week Remodeling Work

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) store located in the Oxbridge Square Shopping Center at 9949 Hull St. will close Saturday, August 9, at 6 p.m. for remodeling. The store plans to reopen Sunday, August 24.

This Midlothian store will be completely remodeled with new walls to increase the size of the sales area. New floors, counters and shelving will also be installed during the two-week process. This work, along with work completed at other recently remodeled ABC stores, balances functionality with visual appeal as well as security and maintenance.

For customer convenience, the following locations close to the Oxbridge Square Shopping Center store will be open during regular hours:

  • Route 60 West, 11108 Midlothian Turnpike, Richmond , VA 23235
  • The Village at Swift Creek, 13113 and 13117 Rittenhouse Drive, Midlothian , VA 23112
  • Haynes Plaza Shopping Center, 6504 Hull Street, Richmond , VA 23224
  • Stonebridge Shopping Center, 201 Stonebridge Plaza Avenue, Richmond , VA 23225

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) is a major source of revenue for the commonwealth, contributing more than $1.8 billion to the general fund in the last five years.
