Ashburn ABC Store Closed for Remodeling

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) store located in the Broadlands Village Center, 43150 Broadlands Center Plaza, Ashburn, will close Saturday, April 26 at 4 p.m. for remodeling. The store plans to reopen Saturday, May 2.

This Ashburn location, along with other recently remodeled stores, balances functionality with visual appeal as well as security, maintenance and accessibility for the disabled. The newly designed store will feature enhanced shelving allowing for increased product selection to meet market demand.

For customer convenience, the following locations will be open during regular hours:

  • 44110 Ashburn Village Blvd., Ashburn Village Shopping Center, Ashburn; and
  • 20070 Ashbrook Commons Plaza, Ashbrook Commons Plaza, Ashburn.

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) is a major source of revenue for the commonwealth, contributing more than $1.7 billion to the general fund in the last five years. The agency currently operates 346 state stores. Its Bureau of Law Enforcement oversees more than 16,000 ABC licensed establishments while the Hearings and Appeals Division considers more than 700 cases each year.
