  • Grand Opening is Tuesday, May 13

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) announces the opening of its new Centreville store located at 5109 Westfields Blvd. in Sully Station Shopping Center.

The agency will hold a grand opening event for the new store at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13. ABC commissioners invite the public to join them for a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new Centreville store measures 4,550 square feet and offers customers an expansive product selection of more than 1,600 items.

“ABC strategically chose the Sully Station Shopping Center to provide convenience to the growing population in Centreville,” said Wilson Jones, director of retail operations.

The Sully Station site, located just west of Route 28, is well-situated for Sully, Centreville and Westfields residents and workforce. The shopping center consists of more than twenty stores and services including With Good Fortune Supermarket, Ace Hardware, BB&T Bank, PNC Bank and Chipotle. Customers now have the ease of shopping for their favorite spirits in the same location they shop for a variety of other needs.

Regular store hours will be 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1-6 p.m. Sunday.

In celebration of ABC’s 80th anniversary year, the first 80 customers following Tuesday’s ceremony will receive a free non-alcoholic gift.

ABC has opened 80 stores in the last 10 years and plans to open 20 more in the next five years to keep pace with the commonwealth’s growing population.

The Westfields Boulevard store is the 347th store in the ABC retail network.
