The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) opened a new store yesterday afternoon at 1480 Quarterpath Road, Williamsburg, in the Harris Teeter grocery store complex.
The location, near Kingsmill, was strategically chosen to meet market demands and better serve the Williamsburg market. The store measures 1,600 square feet, carries approximately 2,543 items and employs five people.
“We're eager to welcome customers, answer their questions, fulfill special requests and, ultimately, adjust the store’s product mix to accommodate their tastes,” said Wilson Jones, director of retail operations.
Regular store hours will be 10 a.m.–9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1–6 p.m. Sunday.
The Quarterpath Road store is the fifth ABC store for the Williamsburg area and the 338th store in the ABC network.
