A Collinsville restaurant is expected to face multiple charges resulting from an early Sunday morning investigation by Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) special agents with assistance from the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
ABC special agents arrived at The Wing Shack, 2089 Virginia Ave., at approximately 2:20 a.m. Feb. 26 and observed after-hours consumption and sale of alcohol, the consumption and sale of unauthorized alcohol (distilled spirits when the establishment has only a wine/beer on-premises license), possession of illegal alcohol (a container of moonshine), as well as possession of a substance believed to be marijuana.
The investigation was spurred by a complaint and continues. No arrests have been made at this time, but administrative charges are expected to be filed.
