ABC Will Close its South Main Street Store Temporarily

Kilmarnock - The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has announced the ABC Store that is located at 101 South Main St. will temporarily close at 5 p.m. on Jan. 5, 2008 for remodeling. The store will re-open on Thursday, Jan. 24 at 10 a.m.

For customer convenience, ABC suggests shopping at the following stores: Store 92 in Deltaville, which is located on 16273 General Puller Highway in the Riverside Mall North and/or Store 238 in Callao, which is located on Rt. 360.

ABC currently operates 330 state stores. Fiscal Year 2007 included a record $604.7 million in annual gross sales. ABC has contributed more than one billion dollars to the Commonwealth in the last five years.
