ABC Will Relocate Store 85 in Oakton

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) has announced that the ABC Store, located in the Oakton Shopping Center on 2928 Chain Bridge Road, will relocate to the Oakton Shopping Center, South Building, on 2930 Chain Bridge Road. ABC Store 85 in Oakton will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 15 and re-open on Tuesday, Sept. 18. The store will operate between the hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Customers will be able to browse through 3,200 square feet of retail space offering liquors, cordials and specialty items. The store will carry approximately 1,346 items. Additional products are available through the ABC Store Price List and Special Order Catalog.

ABC currently operates 327 state stores. As a major source of revenue for the Commonwealth and localities, ABC has contributed over a billion dollars to the Commonwealth in the last five years. Fiscal Year 2006 marked an eighth record-breaking year for ABC, resulting in over $280 million in contributions to the Commonwealth's General Fund, state agencies and to localities for education, police, fire, public works and other projects.
