Major Renovations to Clifton Forge ABC Store Will Bring Enhanced Customer Service

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) retail store in Clifton Forge, located at 531 Main Street, is getting a fresh new look as it receives a major face-lift the week of November 6 through November 13. The store closed on Saturday, November 4 at 6 p.m. and will re-open on Monday, November 13 at 10 a.m. This store has been one of many remodeled as part of an ongoing modernization project by ABC to enhance customer service. The renovations will include new fixtures, carpet and walls.

"We want customers to feel safe and comfortable in our stores," said Tanya Buresh, chair of the ABC Design Committee. "The agency's design team has given the stores more of a cozy, inviting feeling, and they are clean, bright and pleasing to the eye. We have improved security with open floor plans without dark corners and by installing enhanced security mirrors. The look for the new stores is warmer, with each store having its own personal flavor."

The Clifton Forge store, along with other recently remodeled stores, balances creativity with functionality by considering visual appeal along with issues such as security, maintenance and handicap accessibility. Color combinations, ergonomically shaped counters and aesthetically pleasing displays are some of the focal points.

While the Clifton Forge Main Street store is closed for modernization, please visit our store located at 123 West Main Street in Covington.

The store hours for the remodeled Clifton Forge store will be 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
