Clarksville ABC Store Will Close on October 10 to Remodel

The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) announced that the Clarksville ABC store will close temporarily for remodeling. The store will close on Saturday, October 10 at 6 p.m. and will re-open on Tuesday, October 27 at 10 a.m.

The Clarksville store, along with other recently remodeled stores, balances creativity with functionality by considering visual appeal along with issues such as security, maintenance and accessibility for the disabled. Color combinations, ergonomically shaped counters and aesthetically pleasing displays are some of the focal points.

For customer convenience the following locations will be open regular hours or visit www.abc.virginia.gov for a complete listing.

A major source of revenue for Virginia, ABC has contributed more than $1.3 billion to the commonwealth in the last five years. The agency currently operates 334 state stores, and its Bureau of Law Enforcement oversees more than 15,000 ABC licensed establishments. ABC also provides alcohol education and prevention programs to citizens throughout the state. Now in its 75th year, Virginia ABC remains committed to progress and innovation in carrying out its control, service and revenue mission.
