Learning Center Login Instructions

Welcome to the Virginia ABC online training registration process. You will use this system to create an account so you can sign up for various Community Health & Engagement programs, such as:

  • Responsible Alcohol Delivery Driver (RADD) 
  • RSVP and MART
  • BOLT
  • HEADS UP
  • Power of Parents
  • and Project Sticker Shock 

Please Note: For an optimal experience accessing Virginia ABC trainings, we recommend taking our trainings on a laptop or desktop computer using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Users have experienced difficulties accessing trainings and certificates on mobile and tablet devices. If you are logging into our learning center for the first time, please create an account with the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority Learning Center by following these steps.

If you are logging into our learning center for the first time, please create a new account with the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority Learning Center by following these steps.

Step 1: Creating an Account

Visit the Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority Learning Center website. Select Sign Up!

Step 2: Information Entry

Then fill in the required fields.

  • Create a Login ID (for example: First name. Last name)
  • Create a password, minimum of 14 characters composed of uppercase and lowercase letters, a number and a special character.
  • Type your email address and confirm your email address.
  • Be sure to type your First name and Last name without typos, the name entered during the registration process will appear on the Virginia ABC training certificate of completion.
  • Press the Next button.

On the next page, click Create.

Step 3: MFA Verification and Login

You will receive a thank you for registering email. Now that you have an account you will need to use the login ID and password you entered during the registration process to login. Upon logging in you’ll be prompted to verify your account through MFA. You’ll receive an email from [email protected] containing a one verification code. Upon locating the code, enter it into the “Verification Code” field and click submit. You can then log into the LMS successfully.

Step 4: Confirmation

You will receive a thank you for registering email. Now that you have an account you will need to use the login ID and password you entered during the registration process each time you access the site.

If you created an account before December 15th, 2022

Log into the Commonwealth of Virginia Learning Center to resume training or to download your certificate. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I locate a training once I have completed it?

Login to the VABCALC. Once you have logged in, you will scroll to the bottom of the Home page to the “Completed Training” console. Here you can view trainings you’ve recently completed or view “All Training.”

I’ve completed a training but forgot to print my certificate. Where can I print my certificate?

Login to the VABCALC. Once you have logged in, you will scroll to the bottom of the Home page to the “Completed Training” console. Here, you can select to view trainings you’ve completed or view “All Training.” Once you see the training for which you need to print the certificate, click “View Certificate” and a PDF file will download. You may print your certificate from this PDF file.

I failed my quiz at the end of my training. What should I do?

When you enter the training after failing your quiz you must go through the full training again and take the quiz at the end. After selecting the training on the Homepage, you will be asked if you would like to resume the training where you left off. Select “NO.” This will allow you to retake the training and quiz.

The training I am taking says there are attachments to follow along. Where are these attachments located?

In the upper right-hand corner of the training, there is a link to “Resources.” Select this and the PDF attachments are listed for you to download.

Where is the quiz I need to pass for my training?

The quiz is at the end of the training slides. Be sure to complete each slide and click the next button, then answer each quiz question to complete the course.

I completed all sections of the training and passed the quiz with a score of at least 85%—why don’t I see my certificate?

Please make sure that you also completed the survey at the end of the training and clicked the “Exit Course” button when done. Always select the “Resume” option when opening the training again. Allow COVLC to refresh automatically and then you will be able to view and print your certificate.

What are the password requirements?

Passwords must have a minimum of 14 characters composed of uppercase and lowercase letters, a number, and a special character.

I have completed the training, what do I do now?

Please provide the certificate of completion to your employer not Virginia ABC.

Will I need to retake my training if I passed?

RSVP/MART: There is no expiration date for the training, however we encourage everyone to review them regularly to stay current on Virginia laws and Regulations RADD: responsible alcohol delivery drivers must complete the RADD training annually.
