ABC Community Advisory Council
Vision/Mission
The Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Community Advisory Council provides additional vision, insight, accountability, and support to the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control through partnerships with police, community groups, agencies and citizens throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. The council is designed to provide insight and resources to improve communication for community issues/needs, crime prevention, new laws and regulations and to make our communities better and safer places.
Members of the council will consist of ABC licensees and members of civic groups, government organizations and community associations. Advisory Council members serve as a sounding board, a source of ideas, and expertise and gives honest advice on Virginia ABC services.
The board consists of our special agents in charge of the Virginia Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control in your region. Board members are currently recruiting for members of the regional councils. If interested, please e-mail: abc_ac@abc.virginia.gov.
