Managers' Alcohol Responsibility Training (MART)
Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control offers training to help managers become more responsible and to better understand Virginia laws and regulations. Led by a team of ABC special agents, Managers' Alcohol Responsibility Training (MART) is a six-hour class, developed for managers of Virginia's on- and off-premise establishments.
Responsible Sellers and Servers (RSVP): Virginia's Program
Virginia ABC offers training to help sellers and servers become more responsible and to better understand ABC laws, rules and regulations. The training is for clerks, cashiers, wait staff and other "front line" employees. Responsible Sellers and Servers: Virginia's Program (RSVP) is a three-hour class designed specifically for Virginia's on- and off-premise licensees led by a team of ABC special agents.
Prevent Underage Sales: Virginia's Alcohol Laws Training Packet
The packet includes a 20-minute video, a suggested implementation plan, a pre- and post-test, answers to the tests, seller/server first offense penalties, instruction on how to properly check IDs and spot fake IDs, policies and procedures to prevent underage alcohol purchases, manager responsibilities, additional resources, and an evaluation.
